Combinations of the most used assemblies

THREE SWIVELS
Used in trolley carts and small portable machines. It offers excellent handling in confined spaces.

TWO ROTARY AND TWO FIXED
It is the most widely used system. Provides good handling for both short and long distances.

Tip: The swivel casters should be mounted on the side where the force is applied to the equipment.

TWO CENTRAL FIXES AND TWO ROTORS
This system offers, as main advantage, smooth turning and precise maneuvers in small spaces. Acts more efficiently when the fixed caster is higher than the rotating caster.

Tip: The use of two fixed-centered and two rotary switches is not recommended for ramp paths.

FOUR ROTARY AND TWO FIXED
Used in long carts and bulky loads. The fixed casters provide for the reduction and distribution of load on the rotary drives. They offer good control in linear displacement, and perform precise maneuvers in restricted areas.
Tip: To obtain a better result in moving the equipment, the center fixed must be higher.

FOUR FIXED
It is the assembly that presents the lowest cost. However, it requires more space for movement. Using four fixed is not recommended for ramp paths.

FOUR SWIVELS
Mainly used for side drive.

Tip: For better performance of the cart, it is imperative that the caster has a directional turn lock, which provides a linear movement.
